Problem Description
The challenge the customer was facing
The manufacturer suggested ceramic lining to fight abrasion. However, due to the 3-meter drop, ceramic tiles aren't performing well. The heavy limestone blocks cause them to crack or debond upon impact

How WA solved the challenge
We visited the client's site to inspect the installation and assess the extent of the damage.
A significant portion of the ceramic tiles had been dislodged, leaving the steel structure exposed and leading to hole formation.
To resolve this, we replaced the lining with our CREUSABRO wear-resistant steel. To match the original 17mm thickness, we used 15mm plates combined with 3mm rubber gaskets (2mm when compressed). This solution fills the gap and also acts as a shock absorber to handle heavy impacts
