How WA solved the challenge

WA recommended another product to enhance the life of these rolls considering the harsh working environment in Top zones of the slab caster. Foot rolls and other rollers in the top zone were refurbished with WA product CHROMECORE MS 2020-S. After cladding the rolls were re machined with respect to OEM drawing for internal bores and bearing fit locations . These work was done in the customer premises as part of long term contract awarded to WA.
