Operational lifetime of the ø230 idler caster rollers. Customer wishes to find a cladding material that gives a longer rollife in operation. We convinced the customer he could expect approximately 20%. But is very difficult to predict, it could be 0-100% extended life for the caster rollers, mainly depending on the chemistry in the caster chamber. After a year in operation we have the answer.
